Newborn Photography for Walthamstow, Chingford and Leyton Families

Those first two weeks go by in a blur, and the sleepy, curled-up newborn look goes with them. Lots of my families come from Walthamstow, Chingford and Leyton, and my studio at The Granary in Barking is an easy drive along the North Circular. It’s set up so you can simply arrive, relax and let me take care of the rest.

I’m an award-winning newborn photographer (Photographer of the Year and Child Photographer of the Year) and a mum myself. I’ve photographed hundreds of newborns, and every session is calm, gentle and led by your baby.

Newborn sessions start with a £75 session fee. Digital collections begin at £249, wall art and albums at £295, and all-inclusive collections are available from £79 a month. Full newborn pricing is available HERE

Calm, Baby-Led and Never Rushed

For those classic curled-up poses, the best time to photograph your baby is in the first two weeks. If you get in touch during your pregnancy, ideally after your 20-week scan, we can book your due date in, then schedule the actual session date once baby arrives. If your baby is already a little older, don’t worry, there are still lovely options, so just ask.

Sessions usually last two to three hours, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling. Both parents are welcome, brothers and sisters too, and even the family dog. There’s coffee, water and biscuits when you arrive, and the studio is warm and ready with everything we need.

Afterwards you’ll come back to the studio to see your images and choose what you’d like to take home, from digital images to wall art and albums, including the mini albums grandparents love. There’s a wall of real samples to look at and hold before you decide.

Questions Walthamstow, Chingford and Leyton Parents Ask

How far is the studio?

The studio is on Abbey Road in Barking, IG11 7BT. From Walthamstow, Chingford or Leyton it’s a straightforward drive along the North Circular (A406), and plenty of families from these areas make the trip with their newborns.

Is a longer journey okay with a newborn?

Yes. Sessions are relaxed and baby-led, so there’s time to feed and settle when you arrive. If you’re unsure about the journey, message me and we’ll plan the best time of day for your session.

Do you come to my home?

No, all sessions take place in my studio. It’s fully set up, so there’s nothing for you to prepare.

When should I book?

Any time during your pregnancy. Booking before baby arrives means I can offer you the best possible time within those first couple of weeks.

Can I see more of your work?
