Newborn sessions are booked around your due date, so you can plan ahead with confidence.

Tell me your due date

Send me your due date and I will be in touch to find a weekday morning around it. Your session is confirmed once the £75 session fee is paid.

Baby arrives, we rebook

Message me when your little one is born and we will move the session to suit your new arrival, ideally within the first two weeks.

Your newborn session

Sessions start at 10am on weekday mornings and take 2 to 3 hours, with plenty of time for feeding and settling. Then a viewing appointment to choose your images.

Newborn Session Pricing

Oh the joy of holding your tiny little baby for the first time! But they grow up so fast and you do not want to miss this chance to capture portraits so you can cherish this moment in life forever.

For those classic sleepy, curled-up newborn poses, the ideal time to photograph your baby is under 2 weeks old. That’s why the best time to book your tentative slot is just after your second scan — booking ahead means I can offer you the best possible session date within those first couple of weeks after baby arrives. The session date will be confirmed after your baby has arrived.

SESSION FEE £75

The session fee reserves your newborn photography experience at my Barking studio and includes:

• 2–3 hours of studio time on weekday mornings, allowing for a relaxed, baby-led session. (Weekend sessions are available on a limited basis and incur a £50 surcharge)

• Use of a carefully curated selection of wraps, outfits and props

• Parent and sibling portraits, if you’d like them included

• A private viewing and ordering appointment approximately 10 days after your session

• Professional preparation and careful editing of your images

The session fee is non-refundable and does not include digital files or printed products.

At your viewing appointment, you’ll be presented with a gallery of beautifully edited images and invited to select from digital image collections, timeless wall art, albums and fine-quality prints.

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that I get regarding my newborn photography sessions:

What days can I book a session for?

All newborn sessions are scheduled on weekday mornings (Monday–Friday) at my Barking studio in Barking (IG11).
A limited number of weekend sessions may be available for an additional £50 weekend fee.

When is a good time to book newborn sessions?

Once your due date is booked, don’t worry about baby being late or early: we schedule the actual session date once they have arrived.

Where will my session take place?

My newborn sessions take place in my studio in Barking IG11 7BT.

What do I need to bring to my session?

I’ll take care of the props for baby, no need to bring any decorations along. All you need to bring is a dummy if you have one and plenty of extra feeds if baby is bottle-fed.

Can I have my prints/products delivered?

Prints and products are collection only from my studio.

Will I get the print release to my photos after the session?

Yes! I make sure your photos are entirely yours. So, upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release. This means that you’re free to print the photos of your precious little bundle however you see fit.

Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?

I respect the privacy of every parent and newborn I work with. You have full say in whether your photos are uploaded online or not. I will always ask for permission beforehand. But if you’d like to show off your newborn, I’d be happy to!

Will you hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc. in my images?

I remove flakes, baby acne, spots, and food to give your images that sleek final finish. However, I also love to keep your baby’s skin looking as natural as possible, if you don’t want me to fully retouch yours or your baby’s skin, that’s absolutely fine. All you have to do is let me know beforehand.
