Oh the joy of holding your tiny little baby for the first time! But they grow up so fast and you do not want to miss this chance to capture portraits so you can cherish this moment in life forever.

The ideal time to photograph the newborns is when they are between 5 and 15 days old in order to achieve the sleepy womb-like poses, and the best time to book your photoshoot is just after your second scan. This way I can ensure your session will take place within the ideal for time frame for the newborn session. The session date will be confirmed after your baby has arrived.

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that I get regarding my newborn photography sessions:

Q: What days can I book a session for?

A: All of my newborn session take place on the weekdays from Monday to Friday AM. However, sometimes I can accommodate weekend sessions.

Q: When is a good time to book newborn sessions?

A: I generally reserve a time for the expected due date. Don’t worry about being late or early, as session date is set only when the baby arrives.

Q: Where will my session take place?

A: My newborn sessions take place in my studio in Barking IG11.

Q: What do I need to bring to my session?

A: I’ll take care of the props for baby, no need to bring any decorations along. All you need to bring is a dummy if you have one and plenty of extra feeds if baby is bottle-fed.

Q: Can I have my prints/products delivered?

A: Prints and products are collection only from my studio.

Q: Will I get the print release to my photos after the session?

A: Yes! I make sure your photos are entirely yours. So, upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release. This means that you’re free to print the photos of your precious little bundle however you see fit.

Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?

A: I respect the privacy of every parent and newborn I work with. You have full say in whether your photos are uploaded online or not. I will always ask for permission beforehand. But if you’d like to show off your newborn, I’d be happy to!

 Q: Will you hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc. in my images?

A: I remove flakes, baby acne, spots, and food to give your images that sleek final finish. However, I also love to keep your baby’s skin looking as natural as possible, if you don’t want me to fully retouch yours or your baby’s skin, that’s absolutely fine. All you have to do is let me know beforehand.
